With microalbuminuria?
ACE inhibitor, or ARB first line.
Without microalbuminuria?
Any of the following:
- ACE inhibitor
- ARB
- DHP calcium channel blocker
- Thiazide-like diuretic (may need ACEi or ARB for vascular protection)
