    Metabolic acidosis
    Differential diagnosis includes:

    • Anion-gap metabolic acidosis
      • Lactic acidosis
      • Ketoacidosis
      • Methanol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol
      • ASA overdose
      • Advanced renal failure
    • Non anion-gap metabolic acidosis
      • Diarrhea
      • Renal tubular acidosis
